Razor's edge (The Angels) (LP 4140)

The Angels  Two Minute Warning (Vinyl, Mushroom Records, 1984) ***

Genre: Rock, Aussie battlers

Places I remember: Margie's brother's collection

Fab, and all the other pimply hyperboles: Run For the Shelter

Gear costume: Small Price

They loom large in his legend (The Album Collection playlists): Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5Part 6

Active compensatory factors: The Angels' drummer is Brent Eccles - a Kiwi and former member of Citizen Band - hence my interest in these Aussie battlers led by 'Doc' Neeson on lead vocals, and Rick Brewster - lead guitarist.

This was their seventh album. It was pretty popular back in '84 in Australia and Nu Zild. It's fairly generic Aussie rock and at least there are plenty of guitars and no synths.

Where do they all belong? The band had a couple of hits but didn't make a lasting impression on the music world.
